Start earning

Licensing, pay, schedule, and what happens after you apply. If yours is not here, ask it in the application.
Yes. AIM is a virtual team. You work from home, or anywhere with a laptop and a reliable connection. The home base is Troy, Michigan, with Phoenix and Tampa next.
No license is needed to apply. You do need a state producer license before you can sell. In Michigan that means a 20 hour pre-licensing course, the state exam through PSI, and a $10 application fee plus a $5 filing fee. Our licensing guide walks through every step.
You earn commission on the policies you write, so your income grows with the work you put in, not the hours you log. Your manager walks you through the exact structure in your interview. For a sense of the field, the national median for insurance sales agents was $62,280 in May 2025, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Top producers on the AIM team clear $200K+ a year, with $10K days and $50K+ months. There is no ceiling.
No. Hunger matters more than a resume. If you show up every day, take coaching, and make the calls, you can learn everything else.
Applying is free. Getting licensed has state costs that you pay to the state and the exam provider, like the Michigan fees above. If anything else would cost you money, your manager will say so before you commit to it.
